This 3 day workshop is designed to familiarise delegates with the terms used and the function of risk management. The intention is not to focus on the mathematical operations performed but rather to understood the broad reach of risk management in modern financial institutions. Focussing on :
- Understanding corporate governance, compliance and risk management
- Know how to measure, manage and hedge market, credit (retail and corporate) and operational risk
- Define the roles of board members and senior management in managing risk
We shall also examine Basel II and discuss some of the Basel III rules.
